Ever since moving to Pensacola, I started shooting so many sessions for families on the beach. It’s one of the many reasons I moved here! One of my favorite family sessions to shoot is the extended family session. Families come from all over to visit our beautiful white beaches and naturally, they love to get updated photos while the gang is all together. I think it’s so special when large families, who often don’t live near each other, are able to gather together and not only enjoy Pensacola Beach but also document this sweet time together. I can’t get over how amazing it is to create these images for multiple generations!

When I shoot these legacy sessions, I love to get a variety of images, from the entire family to shots of individual families as well. We cover all sorts of combinations including siblings, couples, and my personal favorite – grandparents with grandkids! It is my hope that these photos will be cherished by generations to come.

This family of 22 covered three generations, from the grandparents to the grandkids. With 5 siblings and their families from all over the county, it was so much fun to see them all come together for these photos. It was so easy to see the love they have for each other. I especially loved all nine of the little cousins with their matching “cousin crew” shirts! Enjoy some of my favorite images from this session!
